Mrs. Lizette Arazi

Mrs. Lizette Arazi is currently the curriculum director at Yeshivat Lev Torah. She grew up in a family that deeply valued learning and education. Despite the challenging circumstances in Syria, where her father was unable to pursue his own studies, he encouraged all of his children to achieve their college diplomas, a goal they all successfully attained.
Mrs. Arazi began her teaching career at L’Alliance, a Yeshiva for Girls, immediately after graduation, where she taught for five years. In 1986, Rabbi Hamra a’h invited her to join Yeshivat Ben Maimon, where she taught 7th grade and served as assistant principal for nine years. After Rabbi Hamra left Syria, Mrs. Arazi continued to teach math, reading comprehension, science, and history to students of all academic levels and ages until her family was granted permission to leave. It was during this time she realized her passion for teaching.
In 1994, she moved to America and worked at HSBC Bank until 2002. That year, Mrs. Arazi was given the opportunity to join Yeshivat Lev Torah, where she has been dedicated to nurturing and teaching the young children of the community ever since.

Great Education Begins with Great Educators.
